Special effect Glass text on lava lake made on 1998 on platform Windows 95 with software Paint Shop Pro 4.12 by company Jasc Inc. All rights reserved to Dario de Judicibus. You can freely reuse effects for any non commercial purpose.

Instructions

1. New image - 600x300 - black on black
2. Add text - any font, size 100 pixels
3. Select brush tool - size 60, round, Fog
4. Change your color ("Doubleclick on foreground or background color")
   Foreground color changed to white
5. Add some fog by using either left and right mouse
   Left to make it brighter, right to make it darker
6. Colorize the image ("Colors | Colorize")
   Set hue to 140 and saturation to 200
7. Blur image ("Image | Normal filters | Blur")
8. Choose Hue/Saturation/Luminance adjustment ("Colors | Adjust | Hue/Saturation/Luminance")
   Set hue 20%, saturation 10% and luminance 0%
9. Equalize the histogram ("Colors | Histogram Functions | Equalize")
10. Copy image by Ctrl-C
11. Select All ("Selections | Select All")
12. Release selection ("Selections | Select None")
13. Press DEL to clear the whole image
14. Release Selection ("Selections | Select None")
15. Select the brush tool - Size 60, round, Marsh
    Draw a background area which is wider than text
16. Colorize the image ("Colors | Colorize")
    Set hue to 0 and saturation to 200
17. Press Ctrl-E to paste text
18. Position text in the middle of red background
19. Modify overall opacity of selection ("Selections | Modify | Overall Capacity")
20. Set opacity to 80%
21. Invert Selection ("Selections | Invert")
22. Modify the feather of selection ("Selections | Modify | Feather")
    Set to 20 pixels
23. Apply a Hotwax Coating ("Image | Special Effects | Hotwax Coating")
24. Release selection ("Selections | Select None")
